The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team rallied from a two-goal deficit against visiting Stevens on Sunday night, tying the game with two goals in a two-minute span before the Ducks pulled away for good with a 3-2 decision.
The Cardinals trailed by two goals until the 75th minute, when forward Luke Lennox (Harley/Rochester) converted on a penalty kick for his 12th goal of the season after being taken down inside the 18-yard box.
Just two minutes later, Brad Ervin (Elmira Free Academy/Elmira) chipped a free-kick to Eric Friedman (East Syracuse-Minoa/Kirkville), who headed the ball past the keeper for his first goal of the season, knotting the score at two goals apeice.
The Ducks (14-1-2, 6-0 Empire 8) scored the game's final goal in the 79th minute to remain unbeaten in conference play.
Fisher (9-5-1, 3-2-1 Empire 8) will return to action at 3 p.m. on Wednesday to take on host SUNY Geneseo.
