The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team suffered a 3-1 loss to visiting R.I.T. on Saturday. With the loss, Fisher falls to 3-10-1, 2-5 in the Empire 8.
Junior Kely Zeppetella (Greece Olympia/Rochester) gave the Cardinals the initial lead in the 28th minute, when she crossed up a defenderwith a move towards the middle of the field and beat the keeper with a hard shot in the top right corner.
The Tigers rallied for three second-half goals, including a line-drive shot from 30 yards out that put R.I.T. up for good.
Fisher Keeper Ashley Martin (Marcellus/Marcellus) six saves over the 90 minutes.
The Cardinals will return to action on Tuesday night at Alfred University.
