In their first match on the final day of the SUNY Oswego Invitational, the St. John Fisher College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (30-12, 30-8, 30-8) win over Morrisville. Freshman Sydney Kandefer (Nardin Academy/Alden) led the Cardinals, posting a team-high 10 kills and nine blocks, while older sister Morgen (Nardin Academy/Alden) added six kills and three blocks in the win. Hannah Cordes (Cazenovia/Cazenovia) dished out 26 assists, while sophomore Katy Nesbitt (Bishop Kearney/Irondequoit) tallied seven kills and five blocks in the contest.
The Cardinals will close out the Invitatational with a 2 p.m. match against SUNYIT.
