The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team improved to 8-4-1 with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Keuka College Storm on Saturday night. The Cardinals were led by freshman Andrew McIntosh (Horseheads/Horseheads), who assisted on a Michael Rooney (McQuaid/Pittsford) goal in the 18th minute, and went to goal alone in the 31st minute to preserve the victory. Fisher outshot Keuka 16-10 over the 90 minutes, including a 12-3 advantage in the first half in a game that featured five yellow cards and 37 combined fouls.
The Cardinals (8-4-1) will return to action at 4 p.m. on Saturday to take on visiting Utica College in an Empire 8 Conference contest.
