The St. John Fisher College men's basketball team extended its winning streak to eight games, as the Cardinals defeated host R.I.T. 65-59 on Friday night.

Fisher trailed 41-35, but took the lead for good, thanks to a 21-6 run over the next 6:30.  Fisher led by nine with four minutes left before R.I.T. trimmed the lead to two points.  Fisher, however, responded with dunk from Dan McSweeney with 15 seconds left in regulation and one second left on the shot-clock.

McSweeney led Fisher with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Dan Mueller scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half.
