The St. John Fisher College men’s basketball team defeated visiting Empire 8 opponent Ithaca College 88-59 on Saturday.The Cardinals led 28-7 at the 10-minute mark of the first half, shooting 13-of-17 (76.5%) from the floor to open the game and never looked back, building up a 51-23 lead at intermission. 

Freshman Chris Baltz scored 14 of his 18 total points in the first half. Senior center Dan McSweeney tallied 17 points and grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds.  Isaiah Smalt also added 10 points, while sophomore Justin Beigel scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds.
