The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team out-shot Hobart College, ranked 16th nationally, but couldn't find the back of the net, as the Statesmen escaped Growney Stadium with a 1-0 win over the host Cardinals on Tuesday night.
Fisher finished the game with a 17-11 advantage in shots, but Hobart scored the game's only goal with just over 12 minutes left.
Adam Durst made five saves for Fisher (1-8), who will host Nazareth College at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
