The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team opened up the 2006 season with an 8-0 win at College on Staten Island on Friday.  Fisher led 3-0 just five minutes into the game and never looked back.

Dani Davis led Fisher with four goals and one assist, while  Kelly Zeppetella added three assists and a goal.

Laura Smith, Kiersten Drexler and freshman Alyssa Fagan also scored, while Allison Sams and Megan Baker each picked up an assist.

Stacey Gable played all 90 minutes in goal and earned the shutout.

Fisher hosts Wisconsin-Platteville at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
