Women's Tennis Beats Brockport

The Fisher women's tennis team improved to 4-2 on the year with a 9-0 win over visiting SUNY Brockport on Tuesday.

Laura Hale and Katie Griffin won 9-8 (8-6) at first doubles, while Alicia Kaucher and Lauren Jones prevailed 9-7 at second doubles. Megan Peters and Katie Girvin picked up a point with an 8-3 win at third doubles.

Fisher won all six singles matches in straight sets. Hale and Girvin each won 6-1, 6-2 at first and second singles, respectively, while Peters and Griffin each won 6-2, 6-1 at fourth and fifth singles.

Kaucher (third singles) and Katie Barlow (sixth singles) also won their matches.

Fisher hosts Nazareth on Thursday at 4 p.m.
