BOX SCORE

The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2006 season, as the Cardinals fell to host University of Rochester 4-0 on Sunday.

Fisher held the Yellowjackets scoreless for most of the first half, but Rochester got on the board with a goal with 17 seconds left in the half.  It was the first goal Fisher had allowed this season - a span of over 224 minutes.

Rochester tacked on two more goals in the first eight minutes of the second half and added another in the 70th minute.

Stacey Gable stopped three shots in nearly 60 minutes of action, while Ashley Martin totaled one save.

Fisher, who started the season off with three wins, the College's best start to a season in over 20 years, will return to action at 4 p.m. Tuesday at SUNY Fredonia.
