The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team battled host Clarkson University to a 1-1 tie on Saturday.

Fisher took the lead early on, as Mary Dougherty scored her seventh goal of the season on a pass from Kiersten Drexler in the ninth minute.

Clarkson ( 5-7-1) tied the game in the 84th minute of regulation.

Stacey Gable stopped six shots in the first half of Fisher (7-5-2), while Ashley Martin made five saves over the final 65 minutes.

Fisher will return to action on Saturday at Ithaca College.
