The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team lost a pivotal Empire 8 Conference game on Saturday, as the Cardinals fell to host Utica College 2-1 on Saturday night.

Pat Fitzgerald scored Fisher's lone goal in the 51st minute, tying the game at 1-1, but the Pioneers scored the game's final goal less than seven minutes later.

With the loss, Fisher falls to 1-3 in the Empire 8 and 2-11 overall.  The Cardinals will return to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and will host R.I.T.
