Cardinals Beat Bengals

The Fisher women's soccer team scored two-first half goals and defeated visiting Buffalo State College 2-1 on Tuesday night at Fisher's Growney Stadium.

Freshman Mary Dougherty gave Fisher the lead for good, bending in a corner kick for her sixth goal of the season.

Dani Davis scored the eventual game-winning goal with 41 seconds left in the first half on a pass from Joelle Salvo.

The Bengals (9-4-2) scored their only goal two minutes into the second half, but never tallied the equalizer.

Senior Stacey Gable stopped three shots in the first half, while freshman keeper Ashley Martin made one save in the second half.

Fisher (7-5-1) returns to action on Saturday at Clarkson University.
