St. John Fisher University Athletics

Brennan Brown (Chili/McQuaid) had a career game for the St. John Fisher College men's soccer team as the Cardinals moved to 1-0 in the Empire 8 behind a 3-2 overtime victory against visiting Hartwick on Saturday.

Brown finished with two goals in the win and added a team-leading five shots in all.  The Chili native scored the game's first goal and would net the equalizer late in the second half to force an overtime period.

The Cardinals are scheduled to return to the pitch at 7 p.m. on Tuesday when they travel across town to take on the University of Rochester.
