Alea Steigerwald (Penfield/Penfield) finished with a whopping .393 hitting percentage on the week as the St. John Fisher College women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to six matches over the weekend with wins against Wells, D'Youville and Northern Vermont-Johnson.

Steigerwald combined to produce 55 kills, 29 digs and 10 service aces on the week to go along with one double double.

Against Wells on Friday, the sophomore clubbed a game-high 24 kills and added 19 digs before putting away 17 kills with five aces in a sweep on the Badgers.  Steigerwald closed out the week with 14 more kills in a three-set victory over D'Youville.

The Cardinals are back in action at 6 p.m. on Friday when they travel to Utica College as both teams open up conference play.
