St. John Fisher University Athletics

Lauren Fazio (Hopewell Junction/Arlington) of the St. John Fisher College field hockey team has been named the College's Female Athlete of the Week following the week that ended October 14, 2018.

Fazio had a monster week for the field hockey team as the senior lead Fisher to a 2-1 record last week including a 9-0 win over Sage in conference play.

Fazio, who started all three games, combined to score seven goals and had two assists on the week.  The forward combined to take 14 shots including 10 on goal.

Against Cortland, Fazio totaled both of Fisher's goals before dropping a career-high four goals as Fisher tied its program mark for goals in a game against the Gators.  Fazio closed out her week with one goal and a pair of assists in a non-conference win at Oswego.
