Michael Burton (Westhill/Syracuse) of the St. John Fisher College football team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 30th 2018.

Burton had a record-setting week as he tied his own program record on Saturday against The College at Brockport with 10 punts for 343 yards. In those 10 punts, two were pinned inside the opponent’s 20 yard line with a long kick of 51 yards.

Football returns to the field on Saturday, when they travel to Utica College for the New York State Tool Believe Bowl in an Empire 8 Conference matchup at 2 p.m.
