Senior Scott Eisenmenger (Hilton/Hilton) of the St. John Fisher College baseball team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week after guiding the Cardinals to four wins during the week that ended April 1, 2018.
Eisenmenger, who batted .421 and slugged .479 on the week, batted a combined 8-for-19 with three home runs, a double, nine RBI, seven runs scored and four walks.
Against Elmira, the senior went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and two runs as the Cardinals clipped the Soaring Eagles, 14-5, before adding two more hits in four at-bats with a homer and two RBI in a win over Rochester.
The Hilton native capped the week with a big series against Ithaca as the Cardinals took two of three from the Bombers to remain in first place in the conference standings. In the opening game, Eisenmenger was 3-for-5 with a double and two home runs including a ninth inning grand slam to finish the day with three runs scored and a season-high five RBI.Â
Baseball will continue its short home stand at 4 p.m. on Wednesday when it hosts The College at Brockport at Dugan Yard.
