Tayler Dence of the women’s track and field team has been named the St. John Fisher College Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 15th, 2017.
 
Dence had a solid outing at the Utica Invitational over the weekend, collecting two second-place finishes. Individually, the freshman was the runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles, clocking in with a time of 9.75. She then paired up with three teammates in the 4x200-meter relay, taking second with an ECAC-qualifying time of 1:51.12.
 
Fisher returns to action Saturday when it travels to Ohio to compete in the Inter-Regional Invitational hosted by the Spire Institute.
