Keegan Ryan of the men’s basketball team has been named the St. John Fisher College Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on November 20th, 2016.

Ryan averaged 29 points this week, helping the Cardinals open up their season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Last year’s Empire 8 player of the Year got right back on track putting up two stellar performances during the week. Ryan put up 30 points as he went 10-for-15 from the field in the win over SUNY Poly on Tuesday. He bettered that by going 11-for-12 for 28 points in the 77-73 win over Hobart College on Saturday.

Aside from scoring, the senior also controlled the paint as he hauled in 19 rebounds over the two games.

Fisher will attempt to continue its winning ways at 7 p.m. on Tuesday as the team squares off against Oneonta in Manning & Napier Gym.
