St. John Fisher College’s Cody Wiktorski of the baseball team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 17th, 2016.
Fisher went 4-0 on the week starting with an 18-0 win over the visiting College at Brockport on Wednesday. Wiktorski went 5-for-5, hitting two triples and two doubles for six runs and three RBI.
In an 11-0 win over host SUNY Canton on Saturday, the senior went 2-for-3 with two home runs totaling three RBI. The following day, Fisher trounced Canton again winning 24-6, as Wiktorski went 1-for-2, hitting a two-run home run.
Fisher faces off next at 5 p.m. on Wednesday to take on Houghton College on the road in an Empire 8 Conference matchup.
