St. John Fisher College’s Jess Colmerauer of the women’s track and field team has been selected as the College’s Female Athlete of Week for the week ending February 28th, 2016.

Colmerauer had an impressive showing in four different events at the New York State Collegiate Track Championship hosted by Ithaca College last Friday and Saturday. Individually, she set a new Fisher record in the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.27, good enough for fourth place. The junior also placed in sixth place in the 200m dash after finishing with a time of 27.10.

The Canandaigua native was also a member of the 4X200 meter relay team that posted a school record time of 1:49.10, good enough for fourth place. Colmerauer was also on the 4X400 meter relay team that finished in fourth place with a time of 4:08.75.

The Cardinals will be back in action on Friday and Saturday for the ECAC Championships held at the Ocean Breeze Track Complex in Staten Island.
