St. John Fisher College’s Bobby Campese of the football team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 11^th, 2015.

The Cardinals defeated Morrisville State 34-29 on Saturday, scoring the game winning touchdown with 11 seconds remaining in the game.

Campese finished with 10 receptions for 194 yards and two touchdowns. The yardage total was the most by a Fisher player in a single game since 2002.

In the first quarter the senior caught a 52-yard pass giving the Cardinals their first lead of the game with the score at 7-6. His second touchdown came in the second quarter when quarterback Matt Naton found Campese in the endzone on a 26-yard pass.

On the season, Campese leads the team in receptions (24), yards (339), and touchdowns (4).

Fisher football (2-3) returns to action at 1 p.m. this Saturday when it takes on the Utica College Pioneers at Growney Stadium.
