PITTSFORD, N.Y., May 25, 2015 — Mark VanMarter (Liverpool/Liverpool) of the men’s track and field team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 24.

VanMarter concluded his storied freshman season with a sixth-place finish in the long jump (7.21 meters) last weekend at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship at St. Lawrence University.

He becomes just the second All-American for Fisher’s track and field program, joining teammate Devin Cornelius, who earned the program’s first All-American honors in the heptathlon at the national indoor meet.
