Chaz Lott (Wynantskill/Christian Brothers Academy) of the St. John Fisher College men’s basketball team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 12, 2014.

Lott was a crucial figure in the Cardinals 1-1 week which included handing Stevens Institute its first loss in the Empire 8, 80-67, on Saturday.  The Ducks came into the contest 3-0 in conference play.

The Sophomore guard poured in a career-high 25 points on 9-of-15 from the field with five rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a 84-82 loss to Hartwick College on Friday night at Manning and Napier Gymnasium.

Lott came back on Saturday to score 14 points, along with grabbing seven boards and dishing out three assists in the Cardinals win over the Ducks.

Fisher will be back on the hardwood at 6 p.m. on Friday hosting Ithaca College.
