St. John Fisher College’s Katie Joslyn of the women’s golf team has been named as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 17, 2013.

The senior golfer led her team over the weekend at the Jekyll Island College Invitational in Jekyll Island, Ga.

She was Fisher’s medalist in all three rounds, carding an 89 on Friday, an 86 on Saturday and a 92 on Sunday.

Saturday’s 86 tied for the lowest round in her collegiate career (59 total rounds).

An Empire 8 All-Conference selection, Joslyn placed 78th overall out of 119 golfers.

Fisher will return to action March 30th at the McDaniel Spring Invitational.
