Joseph Radulski of the nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College men’s golf team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 7, 2012.
In a week where the Cardinals placed ninth in the prestigious Gordin Collegiate Classic held at the Columbus Country Club in Columbus, Ohio and also won the ECAC Upstate/Metro Championship on Sunday at Blue Heron Hills Country Club in Macedon, New York, the seventh-straight year Fisher has captured the ECAC title, the senior golfer registered two outstanding tournaments.
Radulski led the way for the Cardinals at the Gordin Classic, shooting a team-best 74 on day one, and following it with a 74 and 76 for a cumulative 224, placing 21st overall in the Classic.
At ECACs, Radulski finished tied for second place at +4, shooting 75 and 73, respectively, trailing only teammate Thad Weir, who captured the individual championship medal.
Fisher will return to the course October 14-16 when they travel to Destin, Florida for Golfweek’s Division III Fall Invitational.
