Amy Street (Liverpool/Liverpool) of the St. John Fisher College volleyball team has been named as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 10, 2010.
Street led the Cardinals (14-11) to two wins in four matches over the week.
The junior setter led the Cardinals with 141 assists on the week, while posting a 32 digs. She also finished with four kills and five blocks.
In all four matches, Street tallied 20 or more in the assists column. In Fisher’s 3-1 loss to Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, she finished with 48 assists. She also posted 38 assists in a 3-2 loss at Nazareth College on Wednesday.
For the season, Street leads Fisher with 804 assists overall, averaging 9.03 a game.
Fisher will return to action on Tuesday on the road at Buffalo State College at 7 p.m. before returning home to host R.I.T. on senior night, Thursday at 7 p.m.
