In a 3-2 week for the Cardinals at the NCAA Division III Championship New York Regional,
Barresi led the team in batting in the five games, hitting .421 (8-for-19). The sophomore also had a team-best nine RBI on the weekend.
Against Brockport,
Barresi hit a two-run single through the left side to tie the game at two, then went on to score the go-ahead run on a steal when the catcher overthrew to third base.
Against Farmingdale on Thursday night,
Barresi went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run scored, including his second two-run single to finally put Fisher on the board following a 6-0 deficit.
The sophomore ended the tournament going 2-for-5 with two RBI in each game on Saturday, including in an 11-inning win over Oneonta.
For the season,
Barresi hit .353 (54-for-153) with 12 doubles, two home runs, 37 RBI, and 25 runs scored.
