    St. John Fisher College has named Kayleigh Comfort (Webster Schroeder/Webster) of the women’s basketball team as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 25, 2010.
    The Cardinals defeated Elmira 64-50 on Tuesday night. Comfort recorded six points and seven rebounds.
    On Friday, Comfort shot 4-5 (80%) from the field, recording nine points and seven rebounds. She also added one block and one assist as Fisher fell to Ithaca 62-42.
    Saturday the Cardinals lost to Hartwick College at 55-47. Comfort had five points and six rebounds.
On the season, Comfort is averaging 4.1 points per game, and 2.9 rebounds per game.
    The Cardinals return to action against Nazareth College on Tuesday, at 6p.m. in Manning and Napier Varsity Gym.
