St. John Fisher University Athletics

St. John Fisher College has named #Alex Battle# of the women’s golf team as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 13, 2009.  She was also named the Empire 8 Conference Female Golfer of the Week. Battle shot an 83 on the opening day of the St. Lawrence Invitational Saturday. She followed up the performance by shooting an 80 on Sunday, completing her round with a 163. This mark was good enough for a sixth place tie individually in the tournament. Fisher, led by Battle, finished sixth in the tournament with a stroke count of 770. The Cardinals return to action September 19, 2009 whey they compete in the Empire 8 Championship.
