St. John Fisher University Athletics

St. John Fisher College has named #Lauren Glavin# of the women's lacrosse team as its Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 29, 2009.
 

In a 2-1 week for the Cardinals, the junior midfielder/attacker totaled 16 points on nine goals and seven assists. 

Glavin tallied seven points on four assists and three goals in Saturday's 17-9 win at Lycoming College.

            
On Thursday, Glavin finished with three goals and three assists in a 18-11 win at SUNY Brockport.  Glavin's final goal of the game was the 100th of her career, making her just the fifth player at score 100 goals in a career. 

            
In Fisher's only loss of the week - a 9-7 defeat at nationally-ranked William Smith College on Tuesday - Glavin scored two goals.

            
For her career, Glavin ranks fourth at Fisher in career goals (103), assists (41) and points (144).  She needs four more goals, three more assists and three more points to move up to second place in all three categories.
