St. John Fisher University Athletics

Trey Kernan joined the coaching staff of the St. John Fisher men’s and women’s tennis teams in August 2025.

Kernan graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio in 2023, where he played four seasons on the varsity tennis team. He posted a career record of 40-11 in doubles and 30-18 in singles, earning two OAC All-Conference selections. He was also a three-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete.

A Rochester native, Kernan graduated from Penfield High School in 2019, where he earned four varsity letters on the tennis team. In 2018, he qualified for the New York High School State Championships in doubles and made the finals of the consolation draw. He was an All-Greater Rochester first-team selection and All-Monroe County first-team selection in 2018 as well. Kernan also won three consecutive Rochester Districts doubles titles from 2022 to 2024.
