St. John Fisher University Athletics

Sierra Masiello joined the St. John Fisher athletics department as an assistant athletic trainer in October 2022. She’s primarily responsible for the Cardinals' women's soccer, wrestling and baseball teams and serves as a secondary trainer for the football team. 

Masiello earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from SUNY Brockport in May 2022. She received her master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion with a concentration in rehabilitation science from Pennsylvania Western University, California in 2023. 

While at Penn West, Masiello obtained a Corrective exercise specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She also holds a sprint coach certification from the NASM. 

Masiello, a member of the NASM, is a BOC-certified trainer. She is also a member of the New York State Athletic Training Association.
