St. John Fisher University Athletics

Emily Vierno joined the St. John Fisher athletics department in July 2025 as an assistant athletic trainer. She handles the athletic training needs for five of St. John Fisher's teams, including JV men's and women's soccer, women's ice hockey and track and field (indoor/outdoor). 

Vierno earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science at SUNY Potsdam in 2022. She attained her master's degree in athletic training in 2025. 

Vierno is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and is a BOC-certified athletic trainer.
