An accomplished collegiate goalkeeper, Cassidy King joined the St. John Fisher women’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach in September 2025. 

King played collegiately at the University of Indianapolis from 2019-22. The three-time Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year made 272 saves over 66 games and posted save percentages higher than 50% during her junior and senior seasons. King ranked second in Division II in goals against average (6.10) as a freshman and led the nation in that statistical category (5.89) as a junior. 

King, from nearby Canandaigua, earned third-team All-America honors from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) in 2021 and 2022. She garnered IWLCA All-Midwest honors three times, twice as a second-team selection (2019, 2022) and once as a first-teamer (2021). 

During King’s senior season in 2022, the Greyhounds went 22-1 and captured their first-ever NCAA Division II championship. King made three saves in the second half of UIndy’s 11-9 win over East Stroudsburg in the national title game. 

A two-time member of the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, King majored in criminal justice and minored in psychology and sociology at UIndy. After graduating, she was accepted into the Florida Law Enforcement Academy and spent three years as a deputy sheriff in the state before returning to Canandaigua. 

King coached the Circle City girls' club lacrosse team in 2021 in Indianapolis.
