2024: Won First Team All-Region Honors from ABCA/Rawlings and Second Team All-Region Honors from D3Baseball.com...  Started and played in 45 games... Led team with .395 batting average, 63 runs, 70 hits (tied), five triples, 52 RBI, .491 on-base-percentage, and 33 steals... Named Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year after  turning 12 double plays from third base while leading the conference with 107 assists during the regular season... His .965 fielding percentage was the 19th best among all players in the conference despite playing the difficult position of third base... Named member of the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team... Led the conference during the regular season in runs scored (60), was second in hits (66), steals (33), doubles (13, tied with Sage's James Lubanski), and triples (5), and placed third in batting average (.393) and RBI (49)... Also finished the regular season in the top five for on-base percentage (.493) and in the top 10 for slugging percentage (.601), OPS (1.094), home runs (4), and walks (21)... Named Most Outstanding Player of the Empire 8 Tournament... Enjoyed a tremendous tournament, batting .417 (5-for-12) with a home run, two double, four runs scored, and 11 RBI in the three St. John Fisher wins... His home run was a walk-off, two-run shot in the bottom of the tenth inning to lead the Cardinals to a 5-3 win over Houghton University in the winner's bracket... Named Empire 8 Player of the Week on two occasions. 

2023: Named to 2023 D3baseball.com All-Region Second-Team … Named to Empire 8 All-Conference First Team... Started and played in 46 games … Batted .313 with 55 hits and 14 HR … Produced 44 runs and 65 RBI on the season. 

2022: Named Empire Player of the Week on February 28 ... Appeared and started in 46 games for the Cardinals ... Batted .287 with six home runs on the season ... Recorded 47 runs and 48 hits including 10 doubles and two triples ... Produced 22 walks and two stolen bases ... Had three hits and four RBI in a 14-3 win over Utica in the Empire 8 Championship on May 13.

2021: Named the New York Region Rookie of the Year by D3baseball.com ... Second-Team All-Region by the ABCA and was selected as a First-Team All-Empire 8 performer as a freshman ... Named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Week twice and was the National Rookie of the Week on May 12, 2021 ... Hit .311 during his first year with 37 hits including nine doubles, a team-high six triples, three home runs and 38 RBI ... Scored 33 runs overall and drew 14 walks ... Slugged .563 in 119 at-bats.

High School: Was a member of the varsity wrestling program for six years and played baseball for three seasons ... Named Captain of both teams ... Named Suburban League All-Star twice in baseball and once in wrestling.

Personal: James is the son of Jim and Stacey ... He is majoring in Biology.
