Head coach Mike Grosodonia II announced the hiring of Mike Brooks in October 2020. Brooks will serve as an assistant coach and oversee the junior varsity program.
Brooks joins the men’s basketball staff following a successful career in the high school ranks. Most recently, Brooks oversaw the Barker high school program where he planned and organized all practices.
Brooks, who earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from Medaille College, also spent time in the AAU circuit including stops at the Rust Belt Basketball AAU Organization where he handled all team operations and helped develop individual fundamentals.
Prior to his tenure in AAU, Brooks was also part of the coaching staff at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute in Buffalo and held positions with Daemen College and the University of Buffalo.
