Now in his 12th season with the Cardinals, Bud Sims works with Fisher’s tackles and tight ends. He was instrumental in the development of Fisher graduate Mike Kallfelz, who played tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs last year. Sims, who was Fisher’s defensive coordinator for five years, graduated from Bethany College in Kansas in 1962 and became a household name among the high school and collegiate ranks in Western New York.

Sims coached with current NY Giants head coach Tom Coughlin at R.I.T. and then accepted the head coach position at SUNY Brockport. Sims led the Golden Eagles to four consecutive winning seasons and left as the program’s most winningest coach.

A Pennsylvania native, Sims and his wife, Patsy, have five children – Susan, Lori, Marcie, Jill, and Charlie – and seven grandchildren – Brian, Melissa, Kylee, Brandon, Emma Lou, Rachel, and Aidan.
