St. John Fisher University Athletics

Anthony Yandek joined the Cardinals in 2004. Yandek is responsible for the development of Fisher's talented wide receivers while also working with kick returners on special teams. While at Fisher, Yandek has also served as a running backs coach and led the JV team for three seasons.

Yandek played football at powerhouse St. Ignatious High School in Cleveland before attending the University of Rochester where he graduated with degrees in history and religious studies., He was a three-time All-Conference wide receiver and also earned Honorable Mention All-American honors from d3football.com., Yandek finished his career at the U of R as the Yewllowjackets' all-time leader in career receptions.

During Yandek's first season on Fisher's sidelines, he was tasked with molding the outside linebacker corps., He also coached the 2004 junior varsity squad while earning a Master's Degree in adolescent education from St. John Fisher College.

Currently, He is a full-time social studies teacher and lacrosse coach at Our Lady of Mercy High School in Rochester.

Anthony resides in Fairport with his wife Nellie and daughter Adelaide.
