2025-26: Appeared in 24 games and started in one… scored 120 points (5.0 per game)... was one of the Cardinals’ top 3-point shooters, making 29-of-80 attempts (36.3%) from beyond the arc… scored in double figures six times… shot 4-of-4 from three and 4-of-4 from the line for 16 points in a win over Houghton on Jan. 13… drilled 3-of-5 3-pointers while scoring 15 points in a win over SUNY Canton on Dec. 2… connected on 3-of-6 threes in No. 8-seeded Fisher’s upset of top-seeded Russell Sage in the first round of the Empire 8 Conference Tournament.

2024-2025: Appeared in 21 games and started in one... Scored 55 points through the year and tallied five steals... Best game came against Rochester where he sank four three-point shots. 

2023-2024: Did not record any statistics for the 2023-2024 season.

High School: Played varsity basketball and golf…. Named a Ronald McDonald All-Star… Named All-Greater Rochester in 2023… Named Division Player of the Year… Averaged 17.5 points per game in High School. 

Personal: Gio is the son of Matt and Julie… He is an Accounting major… His favorite athletic moment was beating his high school’s crosstown rivals… He started playing basketball at the age of five… His favorite professional teams are the Knicks, Mets, and Giants.
