CLINTON, N.Y. – Junior outside hitter Kaylene Noble once again could not be contained as the St. John Fisher women's volleyball team (7-1) won its seventh consecutive match on Friday, taking down SUNY Morrisville (5-3, 0-0 SUNYAC) in four sets to open the Hamilton College Tournament.
Noble slammed 18 kills to surpass 800 for her collegiate career while hitting .400 in the contest. Already named Empire 8 Player of the Week twice this season, Noble has logged hitting percentages over .300 in six of Fisher's first eight matches.

The Cardinals jumped out to an 11-4 lead in the first set, which they won 25-15. Morrisville had 12 attacking errors in the opening frame.

The Cardinals also dominated the second set, taking that one 25-12. They had five total blocks in the set as Morrisville once again struggled offensively, committing 11 more attacking errors.

After dropping the third set 25-22, the Cardinals wasted little time securing the match in the fourth frame, jumping out to a nine-point lead en route to another 25-12 win. Noble had five kills in each of the last two sets.

The victory moved Fisher head coach Kelly Greapentrog one away from 300 for her career.

Noble had nine digs and three block assists to go with her 18 kills. She accounted for 19.5 points.

Freshman Kalyna Dannenberg had nine kills, 11 digs and two service aces. Sophomore Lydia Fraser added five kills and six digs.

Senior setter Reilly Morrow tallied a match-high 32 assists. She also had four kills, two service aces and two block assists.

Junior Ana Gutman led the Cardinals with four total blocks. Senior Madalyn Bouton had three.

Senior libero Kiera Hartpence led the Cardinals with 32 digs.
