PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's lacrosse team had an Empire 8 Conference-best three players named Academic All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), which announced its 2025 academic accolades on Tuesday.

The Cardinals' honorees include graduated seniors Brady Mason, Connor Mesh and Zach Stirpe. This marks the third time in the last four years that Fisher has had three or more players named Academic All-Americans by the USILA.

Mason, also a 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree, sustained a 4.0 grade-point average while studying finance for four years at Fisher. The attackman tied Fisher's third-best single-season marks in goals (59) and total points (85) en route to USILA All-America Honorable Mention honors this past season.

Mesh, who studied marketing, finished his time at St. John Fisher with a 3.79 GPA. Also a 2025 USILA Honorable Mention All-American, Mesh scooped up 18 ground balls to go along with four caused turnovers in 20 games during his senior season. The defensive midfielder added three points on a goal and two assists.

Stirpe studied marketing and earned his undergraduate degree with a 3.46 GPA. The 2025 first-team All-Empire 8 defender caused 35 career turnovers, the seventh most by a player in Fisher history. He finished second on the team in caused turnovers with 25 this past season.

Additionally, the Cardinals were one of 54 Division III teams honored by the USILA for their collective academic excellence. Head coach Dave Dobbins' team finished the year with an impressive 3.54 GPA.
