GENESEO, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's ice hockey team fell to Geneseo 4-0 on Saturday, as the Knights controlled the pace from start to finish. The Cardinals dropped to 7-5-0 overall (2-4 UCHC) while the Knights moved to 7-3-1 overall (5-1-0 UCHC).
How It Happened
Geneseo's Alex Dameski opened the scoring with less than a minute remaining in the first period. Halfway through the second, Filip Wiberg found the back of the net to give the Knights a 2-0 lead.
Dameski struck again less than five minutes into the third period, extending Geneseo's advantage. With under six minutes left in regulation, Cameron Ricotta added a power-play goal – the final tally of the game.
