PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's soccer team's 2025 season came to an end on Saturday night with a 5-1 loss to Utica at Growney Stadium. The Cardinals ended the season 6-8-2 overall.
How it Happened
After Fisher's Jack Tamburino opened the scoring eight minutes in, Byamungu Mugushu scored twice in less than a minute to put the Pioneers ahead.
Henry Schweitzer, Carter Cookinham and Mason Bucher added goals before halftime to push Utica's lead to 5-1. Fisher struggled to generate offense in the first half and was unable to close the gap in the second.
