PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Three St. John Fisher University student-athletes have earned weekly honors from the Empire 8 Conference.
Mason Lister (Junior, Football) – Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week
In a 35-21 win over Hartwick on Saturday, Lister became the first Fisher player to account for five or more touchdowns in a game since quarterback Matt Naton had six passing scores in a 68-40 victory over Hartwick in November 2016.
Lister, who amassed well more than 300 yards passing, threw four touchdown passes and rushed for one. He connected with senior running back Camden Chance for two of those passing touchdowns and threw one each to senior receiver Jaylen Brantley and junior tight end Nate McGoldrick.
This marks the first time that Lister has earned E8 Offensive Player of the Week honors.
