ALBANY, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's volleyball team swept Russell Sage on Saturday to match Virginia Wesleyan and East Texas Baptist for the longest active winning streak (19 matches) in NCAA Division III.
The Cardinals (19-1, 4-0 Empire 8) have swept each of their last 11 opponents and 15 overall this season. Sage fell to 8-8 overall (3-2 Empire 8) with the loss.
Junior Kaylene Noble led the Cardinals with 11 kills, while freshman Kalyna Dannenberg had 10 and hit .471. Sophomore Lydia Fraser slammed nine kills while hitting .412 to go with four service aces, a team high.

Noble had six kills while hitting .286 to lead the Cardinals to a 25-20 victory in the first set. Dannenberg contributed with five kills.

The Cardinals cruised to a 25-9 victory in the second set behind four kills and three service aces from Fraser. Fisher scored the first 11 points in the frame.

The Cardinals aced six serves as they finished off the sweep 25-17 in the third set. Dannenberg and Noble each had three kills in the frame.
