Utica went on to win the penalty shootout, 4-2 to knock off Fisher.
The first goal of the game came early on.
Brennan Brown used his head to deliver a perfect ball for

In the second period of overtime, Rease once again had a chance to score the winner, but the Pioneer goalkeeper saved his header and the two teams went into penalty shootouts. In penalty shootouts, Utica defeated the Cardinals, 4-2, to advance to the Empire 8 finals.
