The Cardinals tacked on a run in the bottom of the third when Zebrowski crushed a solo homer and would plate another run in the fourth following another RBI from Zebrowski to hold a 7-2 cushion.

Leading by five in the fifth, Fisher scored two more runs on three hits and would put the game out of reach in the seventh after driving in five more runs on four hits.
