BOSTON – Two-time All-American standout midfielder Kyle Denhoff, who graduated from St. John Fisher College in 2012 after playing on the men's lacrosse team for four seasons, continued to cement his legacy as a professional athlete as the Penfield native will represent the Boston Cannons in the upcoming Major League Lacrosse All-Star game after being voted in by fans.

The game will take place at Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md. at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th.  The exhibition will be televised nationally and can be viewed on ESPN 2.

Denhoff, who was a four-time All-Conference selection including a pair of First-Team honors while at Fisher, will be making his third appearance in the All-Star game after taking part in 2016 and 2017 as a member of the Rochester Rattlers.

A United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Honorable Mention All-American in 2010 and 2012 and a Scholar All-American as a senior, Denhoff, who is currently on the injured reserve list, has made three appearances for the Cannons this season where he has racked up two goals and an assist to go along with eight shots overall.

Denhoff, who is one of eight members of the Boston Cannons to be voted in, has played eight seasons in the MLL including the last two with the Cannons.  Prior to that, he was a part of the Rattlers' organization dating back to 2013 when he was acquired from the MLL Collegiate Pool.

One of the most prolific players in Fisher's history, Denhoff ranks third all-time in team history with 132 goals while his 180 career points is the fourth-highest total in Fisher's history.  He also appears on the career list for assists as his 48 career helpers is 11th all-time.

Denhoff helped lead Fisher to its first-ever Empire 8 Regular Season title in 2010 as the Cardinals finished the season with 16 wins, which was the most in its history at that time.  In all, Denhoff helped lead Fisher to three postseason appearances and was selected to play in the USILA North/South All-Star Game in 2012.
